     The Planet Neptune

Neptune is the 8th planet from the Sun. It takes four hours, nine minutes and fifty nine seconds for the Sun's rays to reach Neptune. Neptune is 2,771,087,000 miles from the Sun. Neptune is named after the Roman God of the sea. Neptune appers to be blue because of the methane in it's atmosphere. The methane absorbs red light so only blue light reflects back.Neptune rotates prograde (counterclockwise when veiwed from above its north pole). Neptune makes a full rotation around the sun every 164.8 Earth years. Neptune was officialy discoverd in the year 1846 by John Couch Adams and Urbain Le Verrier. Galileo also saw Neptune in 1612 but miss took it for a Jovian moon ( a moon of Jupiter).    Info from "The solar system,Uranus,Neptune,Pluto,And the Outer Solarsystem"

sheldon baker:u did your project very will, it has all the information in a presentable format u pretty much interpreted the project the same way i did you covered all the neccessary facts for your planets that is known by man, nnot many links a 6-8th grade student would be able to read and learn from this pretty easily, but its kinda clumped together and needs spacing adjustments. it seems to be your words but some of it is kind of dry and just fact after fact MlA ciataions are there it doesnt look like uve payed much attention to the comments concerning spacing out ur info. finished on time u put good effort into this project and have all the requirements one thing you could change is adding more pictures and maybe a video, and more color
Anna Compere:i bet you could find some more info on neptune... it's a whole planet! otherwise good job.
