Bodies of Our Solar System

Harwood Union High School

Earth Space Science

Mr Coyle

This year in Earth Space Science we have walked in the footsteps of Edwin Hubble; we have entered the minds of Aristotle, Copernicus, Kepler, Ptolemy, Gailileo and even Lemaitre; we have answered questions about the origin of our universe. We have studied the life cycles of stars and discovered how important our own star is to life on earth. The next step in our journey to understand the universe is to move a little closer to home, a little closer to our star. We'll move inside our spiral Milky Way galaxy, to the Orion Arm, to a place often overlooked: the Solar System. There is much to discover in our own backyard!

The intent of this project is to classify every known object in the solar system.

Still FOR SALE, EXTRA CREDIT Bodies, while they last... asteroids, comets, oh my!!

You can do an extra credit body by linking it, placing your name and "extra credit" on the new page.

Where do we begin? Take me there

What do I need to include in my project?

OMG, I need help!!! Maybe this will help!

Where can I find information on my celestial body?

Mr coyle mr coyle...dont try to out do me with the beatles, doors, police, or rolling stones... the Beatles song "The End" is a completely different piece than the 1967 second "The End" by the doors. The Beatles combined 3 songs in abbey road- golden slumbers, carry that weight, and the end to make it sound abstract. It's also the only drum solo Richard Starkeyy has ever done for the Beatles, and he had to be convinced to do it...so yeah

I did not state that Jim Morrison was, nor should be, a role model for young adults. He was by any standard a creepy guy with many problems that caught up with him and took his life at a young age. Aron's reference reminded me of my high school days when I had a fond interest in Morrison's eclectic style of music. I am not, nor have I ever been, a big Beatles fan. I get a lot of grief for that from my friends. Some people like chocolate ice cream, I'm a vanilla guy.

so this is all well and good... but i am not actually sure of how to get rid of a wiki page. any advice? also, i totally understand where you're coming from. people have strong opinions about what they find to be good music, but we all like different kinds... it's just like, whatever floats your boat is fine.

What's gone wrong Tuck-in-a-tor? Did you install and run Firefox like I suggested? Ask your old man if you can borrow his PC if it's still not working.
